About the Role
Charter is seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst / Network Specialist for a 12 month contract. Strong hands‑on networking experience and CCNA‑level capability to support complex enterprise network environments. This role provides advanced technical leadership, operational support, and field‑deployment expertise across a wide range of networking technologies.
Responsibilities:
Execute field‑based network deployment activities
Demonstrates CCNA-level capability and strong hands-on networking skills
Work safely in active construction environments with strict adherence to site protocols
Install, rack, power, and onboard Cisco core, distribution, and access switches
Bring wireless access points online and validating performance
Utilize Cisco‑related tools such as BlueCat IPAM and Cisco Spaces
Perform cabling validation, network turn‑ups, and on-site troubleshooting
Ensuring all field activities meet safety, configuration, and quality standards
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, network operations, or infrastructure support
CCNA-level capability with strong hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco enterprise equipment
Proven experience working in active construction environments with zero tolerance for safety non-compliance
Hands-on experience installing, racking, powering, and onboarding Cisco core, distribution, and access switches
Experience bringing enterprise wireless access points online and validating RF performance
Familiarity with Cisco ecosystem tools such as BlueCat IPAM and Cisco Spaces
Proficiency using network diagnostic tools including NetAlly or equivalent testers
Ability to create and interpret network diagrams, configuration documentation, and operational procedures
Must supply personal field tools, appropriate testing equipment, and a suitable laptop for on-site work
