The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Quality Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by providing quality system support to the Solventum Morden manufacturing site.
Tasks / Systems within scope (as assigned):
- Releasing finished product for sale through DHR review and performing quality audits on finished product.
- Assembling and maintaining device history records for all medical products.
- Supporting NCN investigations.
- Performing incoming components inspection and release for all raw materials.
- Performing product testing.
- Maintaining a 5S environment in lab and office areas.
- Supporting the Morden CAPA (Corrective action, Preventive action) system by acting as database coordinator.
- Administering the Document Control System under the Morden Quality Management System by maintaining the documentation database, creating and revising standards as required, administering routing for signatures and approvals, distributing final standards, and maintaining documentation status as current and in compliance through annual review for accuracy.
- Supporting the Internal auditing system by maintaining certification and performing as a qualified auditor.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher AND experience in quality, technical, lab, manufacturing and/or plant
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Medical Device manufacturing environment experience
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated experience conducting quality systems audits
- Strong customer focus and consultative skills, with a proven ability to develop solutions to difficult problems.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Statistical knowledge and practice with Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) studies, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability, Sampling Plans, Design of Experiments (DOE), Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Regression, Process and Product Understanding (PPU), and Lean Manufacturing
