e4c Early Learning Services supports families with low income through preschool programs and family-centered services. We are looking for a compassionate, relationship-focused Family Support Worker to join our team.

In this role, you will provide individualized support, advocacy, and meaningful community connections to families, helping strengthen their capacity and achieve their goals. You will facilitate both virtual and in-person parent groups, conduct home visits, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, wraparound supports for children and families. This is a dynamic, community-based position ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood development, family-centered practice, and building strong, respectful relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and attend regular home visits with the families on your caseload.
  • Support the family in identifying and reaching their goals through a family-centered approach.
  • Make appropriate referrals within the family's community to increase their positive support systems.
  • Work with the multi-disciplinary team to inform decisions that impact the case plan. 
  • Plan and deliver virtual and in person parent groups. Topics are based on parent interest, cultural diversity and individual group needs. 
  • Participate in inter-agency meetings and other community meetings to network and establish collaborative partnerships. 
  • Completion of month end reports and statistics forms.
  • Input and manage case documentation on School Cloud database.
  • Support in IPP meetings when needed.
  • What you bring to the team:

  • Diploma or degree in Social Work, Human Ecology, or Child and Youth Care.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with preschool-aged children.
  • Experience working with socially, economically, and/or culturally diverse children and their families.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Proof of vehicle insurance, registration, and a 3-year driver's abstract.
