This is an ideal role for an administrative professional with 1–2 years of experience who is "system-savvy", has experience supporting an HR team, and is looking to build skills and specialize in HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Filing: Maintain electronic employee files.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Monitor the Dayforce "Onboarding" module to ensure new hires complete their digital paperwork (tax forms, direct deposit, etc.) before their start date and managers to complete their task list for their new hires
  • Pay setup: Maintain pay policy assignments, pay classes, entitlements, and more.
  • Employment & Termination Letters: Prepare employment verification letters, Employment Agreements (Job offer letters, build Employment Agreements etc.) and Termination letters.
  • Audit & Quality Control: Assist with and perform audits of Dayforce data to ensure employee records meet internal policies and local employment standards.
  • Reporting: Build and schedule custom reports to track KPIs like turnover, overtime trends, and vacation accruals.
  • Dayforce Support Liaison: Create and follow-up on Dayforce support tickets to manage questions or resolve concerns with system set-up.
  • Monitor & Triage HR Inbox: Monitor the HR inbox for general employee or manager questions, triaging tasks and forwarding to the appropriate HR Business Partner.
  • Payroll & Timekeeping Support: Assist employees and managers with timekeeping matters, including monitoring and follow up on outstanding or missing timesheets to ensure timely payroll processing. Support the Year-end process including assistance with the preparation of year end tax forms.
  • Benefits admin Support: Ensure new hires complete their benefits enrollment forms in Dayforce and follow up on any outstanding submissions. Enroll eligible employees in benefits and send enrollment confirmation emails and reminders to employees who have not completed self-enrollments.

  • Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience using an HRIS, knowledge and experience with Ceridian Dayforce will be an asset.
  • Technical Savvy: High comfort level with Dayforce/HRIS modules including HR, Payroll, Compensation and Performance.

  • Data Entry: Fast and accurate data entry skills. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Education: A Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration or Human Resources is preferred.
