We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Clerk to join our growing logistics team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the accurate tracking and management of warehouse inventory. Your duties will include receiving, stocking, and counting inventory items, as well as identifying and resolving any discrepancies. A thorough understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures is essential. You will work closely with our inventory management systems and support the broader logistics functions of the company. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stock incoming inventory items accurately.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Verify the accuracy of inventory records against physical stock.
- Investigate and report any inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and clean storage areas.
- Assist in the preparation of inventory reports.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related tasks.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including proper PPE use.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse support is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Good organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear necessary PPE.
