HGV Technician

We are excited to invite HGV Technicians to join our Transport Department at our Bridgwater Depot. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled technicians looking to work with a prestigious logistics company, servicing and repairing a modern, well-maintained fleet of vehicles.

The primary purpose of this role is to repair and maintain our HGV fleet to comply with legal and company standards. You will actively seek solutions to challenges while embracing a safe and efficient approach to your work.

• Inspect and maintain our HGV fleet
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport them to the test centre
• Record vehicle defects and maintain accurate records of work carried out
• Repair minor accident damage
• Conduct fault diagnosis
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of your role

• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload
• Qualifications: City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry
• Commercial experience with HGVs is essential
• Class C+E licence is preferable but not essential

Location: Bridgwater Depot (TA6 6DF)
Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days
Salary: From £20.04 per hour - £26.69 per hour
