We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our San Francisco, California location. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our vast inventory, playing a vital part in our supply chain and logistics operations. Responsibilities include conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, implementing process improvements, and managing inventory data within our WMS. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of inventory management best practices. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly preferred. While this role focuses heavily on data and process, occasional physical tasks may be required, including lifting up to 30 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage daily cycle count programs.
- Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with operations, receiving, and shipping teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Oversee the put-away and replenishment processes.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Properly use all required PPE .
- Support the logistics department with accurate inventory information.
- Train other staff on inventory control procedures as needed.
