Our client is at that moment.
They are managing an ambitious programme of work across multiple live projects, all moving at pace, all time critical. To keep that momentum, they need a dedicated Antenna Design Engineer who can step in, take ownership and help deliver.
This is not a generalist design role. It is a focused, specialist position within a high-performing engineering team. You will be working alongside antenna, mechanical and production engineers, contributing across the full development lifecycle. From early stage concepts through to build, verification and production handover, your work will have a direct impact on real products and real outcomes.
The role has been approved as a 12-month fixed-term contract due to project demand. There is strong potential for this to become permanent for the right individual. Flexibility is also on the table. While the base location is Newmarket, our client is open to hybrid working and a broader geographical reach to secure the right expertise.
Salary £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience.
The Role
• Contribute to the design and development of antenna and RF products • Support projects from requirements capture through to production handover • Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams • Carry out testing, analysis and documentation • Support and improve internal test facilities
What We Are Looking For
• Practical experience in antenna or RF design • A solid understanding of RF principles and electromagnetic theory • Confidence working in a project-driven engineering environment • Ability to collaborate, take initiative and deliver to deadlines • Degree or HNC level education in Electronic Engineering or similar
We are deliberately not overloading this advert with technical jargon. If you have hands-on experience within antenna or RF design and are confident in your ability to deliver within a busy engineering environment, we would welcome a conversation.
