Data & Document Management Intern

Position Overview

I am seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Summer Intern to support two key operational initiatives: (1) refreshing and improving the health of our Controlled Document Library, and (2) assisting with data cleanup and standardization within our Holman Fleet Administration system. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys structured work, problem‑solving, and supporting process‑driven functions within a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Controlled Document Library Support (Document Control)

  • Review document "health" status within the Controlled Document Library (CDL).
  • Identify documents requiring updates, refresh, or reapproval.
  • Work directly with document authors to coordinate revisions and ensure version control processes are followed.
  • Prepare documents for reapproval using established templates, formats, and workflows.

Tools & Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Clear communication skills when coordinating with authors and approvers

2. Fleet Administration Data Cleanup (Holman System)

  • Assist with data standardization efforts inside the Holman fleet administration platform.
  • Review asset, driver, and vehicle records for inconsistencies or missing information.
  • Identify issues requiring correction and document recommended fixes.
  • Support reporting and data verification activities as needed.

Tools & Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, cleanup, lookups preferred)
  • Ability to follow structured data workflows
  • Analytical, methodical approach to resolving data discrepancies
