Staryo is a founder-led, high-growth creator monetization platform designed for performance, scalability, and secure digital commerce. Our product is live and actively evolving, with engineering execution directly shaping company trajectory. We operate lean, move quickly, and prioritize execution quality as we scale.
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who can bring structure, clarity, and accountability to our growing development team. This is not a passive status-tracking role. You will be responsible for ensuring features ship on time and at quality.
We operate as an AI-augmented team. We expect intelligent use of AI tools for research, documentation, validation, and workflow acceleration. Speed matters — but precision matters more.
What You’ll Do
* Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and task prioritization for a team of developers
* Break down product initiatives into clearly defined, executable tasks with measurable acceptance criteria
* Enforce scope discipline and protect delivery timelines
* Identify blockers early and coordinate solutions across engineering and founders
* Operate independently in technical gray areas — when answers are unclear, drive investigation and present recommended solutions rather than escalating uncertainty
* Maintain visibility into release readiness and deployment schedules
* Track risks, dependencies, and technical debt
* Communicate progress, trade-offs, and risks clearly and directly to founders
* Continuously improve team workflows and execution efficiency
What Success Looks Like
* Sprint commitments are consistently met
* Minimal surprise delays
* Developers have clear direction and well-defined scope
* Features ship with minimal rework
* Low defect rates and reduced cross-feature breakage
* Founders have real-time visibility into progress
Required Experience
* 5+ years managing software development teams in production environments
* Strong understanding of modern full-stack architectures
* Experience with BaaS platforms (Appwrite, Supabase, Firebase, etc.)
* Familiarity with cloud/edge platforms (Cloudflare, AWS, Vercel, etc.)
* Hands-on experience using Jira or similar project tracking tools
* Experience working in startup or high-growth environments

* Comfortable making decisions under ambiguity
* Proactive — identifies risks before they escalate
* Comfortable in a lean, non-corporate environment
* Able to push back respectfully when scope creeps
* Comfortable operating without technical founders — capable of researching, validating, and proposing technical direction when gaps appear

Compensation
* $6,000–$8,000 USD per month
* High ownership, direct founder visibility, and long-term growth opportunity
* Performance-based growth potential as the platform scales
Pay: $72,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
