About the RoleWe are looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our Clarkson Operations team. In this role, you will ensure that materials, supplies, and deliveries are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to support ongoing production. You'll play a key part in maintaining organized inventory, smooth material flow, and a clean, safe working environment. Your work helps ensure that our production teams can meet customer demand, maintain high quality, and uphold safety and compliance standards.

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
What You'll Do- Receive, verify, and document incoming deliveries with a focus on accuracy and safety.
- Safely load, unload, and organize raw materials using material-handling equipment.
- Support production by relocating materials as needed, including moves to upper-floor storage.
- Handle and store materials such as tin stabilizer and wax in compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain up‑to‑date certification for Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG).
- Participate in spill‑response and containment training as part of safety readiness.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and report variances promptly.
- Keep the shipping/receiving and surrounding areas clean, organized, and compliant.
- Assist with outdoor housekeeping tasks (e.g., waste management, compactor area upkeep).
- Participate in 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support winter safety by maintaining clear emergency exits and salt bins.
- High school diploma or practical equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in warehousing or shipping/receiving environment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Familiarity with Inventory tracking and management
- Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance Forklift certification is a strong asset
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification is an asset
- Basic digital literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office, data entry).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting 50–75 lbs, frequent walking/standing).
- Familiarity with WHMIS and hazardous material protocols.

The incumbent spends 100% of their time in the plant and blending environment, performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects (10–75 lbs.), with standing and walking making up most of the workload. The role also requires working at heights, including climbing silos, adding an additional physical and safety consideration. Personal safety is impacted by exposure to heat, dust, and high noise levels, as well as the operation of certain equipment. The role demands moderate sensory focus, and limited control over work pace, along with unpredictable workflow, contributes to the overall stress of the position.
