We are looking for a dynamic Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our San Francisco, California logistics team. This role is fundamental to managing the efficient flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for both receiving inbound shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outbound shipments for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external carriers. You will play a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring customer satisfaction. Safety is our top priority; all employees must strictly adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves physical activity, including significant Lifting and material handling, so physical stamina and a good work ethic are essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage and discrepancies upon arrival.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
