Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing lists.
- Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Verify that outgoing shipments are accurate and properly packaged.
- Operate shipping software to generate labels and track shipments.
- Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipping status.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations and logistics processes.
