Seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist for our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. This key role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be involved in cycle counting, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures to minimize loss and optimize efficiency. This position requires analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage the receipt and put-away process for accuracy.
- Train warehouse staff on inventory control best practices.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, ensuring safe handling of inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting.
Requirements: While this role is less physically demanding than some, adherence to general Safety guidelines and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like safety vests may be required in operational areas. A strong understanding of Logistics and inventory management principles is essential.
