Job Summary:
Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) play a crucial role in safeguarding the nation's borders and protecting its citizens. This position requires individuals to perform a variety of tasks, including detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations, and apprehending aliens and smugglers.
Critical Responsibilities :
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations
- Apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near the border using surveillance equipment like infrared scopes during night operations
- Finding physical evidence such as tracks, marks, etc., related to illegal entry into the country
