Job Title: Band 7 – Data Protection Lead Location: Maudsley Hospital, Denmark Hill, London, SE5 8AZ Trust: South London and Maudsley NHS FT Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week), Hybrid (On-site 2 days/week) Pay Rate: £29.78/Hr. + Holiday Pay (up to £33.98/Hr.) Contract: 3 - 6 months rolling, possibility of extension up-to 1 year. If you have experience in data protection, particularly in service, application, and system development, you would be an ideal fit for this role. Job Summary: We are looking for a Data Protection Lead to oversee privacy compliance and provide data security assurance across the Trust. You will lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), data processing agreements, and ensure privacy by design across new projects. Key Requirements: * Experience in data protection and privacy impact assessments * Strong understanding of GDPR, Data Protection Act, and privacy principles * Experience with data processing agreements and privacy notices * NHS experience is desirable Key Responsibilities: * Lead privacy assessments for new and existing service and system developments * Develop, implement, and monitor data processing and sharing agreements * Coordinate and manage DPIAs to ensure privacy compliance * Manage incident processes and escalate as needed Interested?
