Join our dynamic e-commerce fulfillment center in Sacramento, California, as a Picker/Packer! We need energetic and reliable individuals to help us process and ship customer orders efficiently and accurately. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves based on order slips and carefully packing them for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and a commitment to quality are key. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and in excellent condition. We pride ourselves on a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the use of required PPE, is mandatory. This position involves significant walking, standing, and the ability to perform lifting of up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Carefully and efficiently pack items into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain productivity targets and ensure order accuracy.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counting.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists.
- Dexterity and accuracy in handling products.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
