Join our fast-paced warehouse as a Picker/Packer in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail are critical to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This position is a key component of our logistics and fulfillment process, contributing directly to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipment.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking shelves or label application.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability of frequent Lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Good time management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as operational needs dictate.
- A dedication to Safety and a willingness to follow all guidelines.
