Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to transport and store merchandise.
- Load and unload pallets from racking systems at various heights.
- Retrieve products from storage locations for order fulfillment.
- Replenish stock in picking areas as needed.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections on reach trucks and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear access to aisles.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and location verification.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and operational efficiency.
- Handle materials requiring careful lifting and positioning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification and proven experience operating reach trucks.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting operating specialized equipment.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety standards and practices.
- Proficiency in navigating narrow aisles and high racking systems.
- Ability to interpret product labels and location codes.
- Physical capability to perform tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
