We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in the order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their items accurately and on time. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding our high standards of quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and carefully packing them for shipment. This involves understanding product placement, utilizing scanning equipment, and ensuring the integrity of items during the packing process. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and supervisors to resolve any order discrepancies. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and handling of goods, is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring protection during transit.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and any required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including packing stations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Lift and move packages of varying weights throughout the shift.
- Contribute to overall team goals and warehouse efficiency in a logistics setting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Basic math skills for inventory purposes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper lifting techniques.
