In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This position is vital to our logistics network, ensuring that our customers receive their products quickly and correctly. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing scanning technology and following specific picking and packing procedures. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are paramount. We prioritize safety and expect all team members to adhere to our strict safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. This role involves frequent Lifting of items, so physical stamina is important. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, efficient, and eager to contribute to our team's success. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry. Training will be provided, but prior warehouse experience is beneficial. You will be responsible for maintaining order accuracy, ensuring proper packaging, and contributing to overall warehouse efficiency. Your role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting our supply chain operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and scanner information.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials and methods to ensure product safety during transit.
- Verify order details against shipping labels and manifest documents.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards.
- Follow all company guidelines for PPE usage and safe Lifting practices.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, such as stocking and inventory counts, as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily shipping goals.
