We are seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic fulfillment center in Sacramento, California. As a Picker/Packer, you will be essential in accurately and efficiently preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is the backbone of our e-commerce logistics, demanding speed, precision, and a dedication to quality. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order slips or electronic devices.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged products or inventory discrepancies.
- Meet or exceed individual and team productivity goals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and efficient logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks, up to 40 pounds, on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be able to wear and use all required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is advantageous.
