We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of operations within our warehouse facility. Responsibilities include inspecting equipment before and after use, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all lifting guidelines to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
