We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team in the heart of New York City, New York. This role is integral to our supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring the efficient handling and movement of goods within our facility. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess excellent attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Organize and stock products in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management processes, such as cycle counts.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet operational targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including consistent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety best practices.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
