We are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our thriving logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed are critical to ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work with modern warehouse management systems and picking technologies. A strong focus on accuracy, Safety, and productivity is paramount. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or use RF scanners to accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify the correct product and quantity before staging for packing.
- Ensure picked items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Organize and stage picked orders for efficient packing and shipping processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in picking and staging areas.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform regular Lifting of items, adhering to safe Lifting techniques.
- Wear required PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a strong asset.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
