We are looking for motivated Picker/Packers to join our logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and in perfect condition. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for selecting items from inventory, verifying order accuracy, and carefully packing them for shipment. You'll play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and efficiency. Safety is our utmost priority, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the diligent use of PPE, is required. This dynamic position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and moving throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from inventory based on order tickets.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and condition before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, following company guidelines.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Adhere to all workplace safety rules and requirements, including wearing necessary PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good manual dexterity for careful packing.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
- Willingness to strictly follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
