Are you an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator? We have an excellent opportunity for you in Durham, North Carolina! This role is essential for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse and plays a crucial part in our overall logistics operations. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move materials between departments, and assist with inventory management. Your ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently will directly impact our productivity and Safety standards. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment. Key duties include:
- Operating forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading goods from trucks and trailers.
- Stacking and unstacking pallets of goods.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Performing daily inspections of forklifts and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all Safety regulations, company policies, and operating procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Performing other warehouse duties as needed, including occasional Lifting.
Requirements:
Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or industrial setting. Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Must be at least 18 years old. A strong commitment to Safety, reliability, and teamwork is essential for this logistics position.
