We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our Cincinnati, Ohio team! This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and staging orders for shipment, and assisting with inventory control. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential. We value a team-oriented approach and expect all associates to contribute to a productive and safe working environment. This position involves physical work, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and fill customer orders from warehouse stock efficiently and precisely.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Stage orders for outgoing shipment and coordinate with carriers.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and willingness to adhere to them.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic logistics environment.
- Commitment to using provided PPE and maintaining a safe workplace.
