Join our growing logistics operations in Houston, Texas, as a versatile Warehouse Worker. This role is fundamental to the smooth functioning of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks that contribute to efficient inventory management and order fulfillment. Your responsibilities may include receiving and unpacking incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to different tasks throughout the day are key. We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace safety, and all employees are required to strictly follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. The ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods, is essential. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, have a strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the logistics industry and grow with a reputable company.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Operate pallet jacks or other basic material handling equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and perform various warehouse tasks.
- Basic communication skills.
