We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Sacramento, California facility. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, which is essential for efficient Logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, investigating stock adjustments, and implementing procedures to minimize losses and improve inventory accuracy. Your meticulous approach and analytical skills will be key to success in this position. Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Manage and process inventory adjustments and stock movements.
- Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE .
- Contribute to process improvements within the Logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Ability to perform light physical tasks, including occasional Lifting .
