Join our growing team as a Warehouse Worker in Charlotte, North Carolina! We are looking for dedicated individuals to contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various essential tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your role is crucial to our logistics success, ensuring that our inventory is managed efficiently and accurately. This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on meeting operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse and work areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process through diligent work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of and commitment to safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within our logistics operations.
