Are you a proven leader in warehouse management? We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations at our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. In this critical role, you will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and safe operations, productivity targets are met, and inventory accuracy is maintained. Your responsibilities will include scheduling, training, performance management, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will play a vital role in optimizing logistics processes, managing workflow, and troubleshooting any operational issues. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all regulations. The supervisor must be capable of demonstrating or assisting with tasks involving significant lifting and manual handling when necessary. We seek a candidate with excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, dedicated to maintaining a high-performing team and a secure, efficient warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management.
- Implement and enforce company policies and safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to the team.
- Manage employee schedules and track performance metrics.
- Ensure efficient workflow and optimize space utilization.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all logistics and safety regulations.
- Assist with lifting and material handling tasks during peak times or when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices, including PPE.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform lifting and physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
