Join our growing logistics operation in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Receiving Clerk! We are looking for an organized and reliable individual to manage the inflow of goods into our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include expertly unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents against documentation, inspecting for damage, and accurately recording all received items into our system. This role is vital for ensuring that our warehouse operates efficiently and that we maintain the highest standards of inventory accuracy. You will play a key part in the supply chain, ensuring timely processing of incoming materials. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving position is advantageous. Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. This position requires the physical ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs and to stand and move for extended periods. A basic understanding of logistics principles and warehouse operations will be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Accurately match received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect products for damage or defects and report findings.
- Document all receiving activities in the company's inventory system.
