We are seeking dedicated and energetic Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a strong work ethic, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills may be required for order processing. We provide all necessary PPE to ensure your safety while performing your duties. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations using an order picking system.
- Inspect picked items for damages or discrepancies.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
