We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records. This role is crucial for ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our overall logistics. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and assisting with stock organization. We are looking for individuals with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining organized and precise inventory data. Prior experience in inventory control or warehouse management systems is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure accurate inventory data entry.
- Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and assist with stock rotation.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
