We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping a variety of goods. Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Organizing and storing materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operating warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
- Conducting regular inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
