Job Summary:
Our Dallas, Texas warehouse is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our stock. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions. Your expertise will directly impact our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. We are seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining a highly organized warehouse.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder points, reporting needs to management.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Track the movement of inventory within the warehouse and update the warehouse management system (WMS) accordingly.
  • Identify and tag damaged or obsolete inventory for proper disposition.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure all warehouse personnel adhere to proper inventory handling and storage protocols.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and operations teams to optimize inventory flow.
  • Uphold all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
