- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and labeling.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory count.
- Prepare materials for shipment or production.
- Contribute to a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification (if applicable to the specific role).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Excellent understanding of logistics and material flow.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
