Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Picker/Packer! This role is fundamental to our efficient order fulfillment process and the overall success of our logistics operations. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and then preparing them for shipment. This involves meticulous attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and efficient packing to protect products during transit. A commitment to Safety is paramount; you will be expected to follow all warehouse safety guidelines and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently. This position requires individuals who are agile, detail-oriented, and capable of performing tasks involving moderate physical activity, including regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order tickets.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier requirements.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all Safety standards and company policies.
- Use provided PPE, including gloves and safety glasses.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Perform manual Lifting and movement of packages as required.
