This fast-paced role is central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their items quickly and accurately. You will be responsible for picking products from warehouse shelves, verifying order accuracy, and packing them securely for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on customer orders, using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch according to carrier specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items before shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all warehouse safety regulations.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics flow.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times and follow all safety guidelines, including those for lifting.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily picking and packing productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
