Seeking a dedicated Fulfillment Associate for our busy New York City, New York location. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders from start to finish. This includes picking items, packing them carefully for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve items from inventory with high accuracy using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Pack merchandise appropriately to prevent damage during shipping, ensuring all items are secure.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup, following specific guidelines.
- Conduct final checks to confirm order accuracy before items leave the facility.
- Support in receiving, unpacking, and stocking new inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace, following all warehouse and logistics safety protocols.
- Operate standard warehouse tools and equipment responsibly.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through precise picking and handling.
- Utilize provided PPE correctly at all times to ensure personal safety.
- Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is highly desirable.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and perform frequent lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced urban environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Awareness of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Willingness to adapt to varying tasks and schedules.
