You will use scanning equipment to locate items, carefully pick them from their storage locations, and then package them securely. Understanding and adherence to our safety procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is crucial. This position involves significant physical activity, including walking, standing, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. You will be an essential part of our logistics operations, contributing to customer satisfaction through efficient order processing. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure accuracy of picked goods.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Label packages for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus. Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and wear PPE.
