Our Orlando, Florida location is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator. In this critical role, you will oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and Safety. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities of warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, and optimizing the flow of goods through the facility. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse Logistics. You will play a key part in implementing and enforcing Safety procedures, ensuring all team members are trained and comply with regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working with carriers.
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, conduct Safety training, and ensure compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment efficiently.
- Analyze warehouse operations and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Manage supplies and ensure the availability of necessary materials for operations.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of PPE by all staff.
- Foster a culture of Safety and efficiency within the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Logistics best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and familiarity with OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
