We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our busy warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is central to our logistics operations, responsible for the safe and accurate movement and storage of materials. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, possess strong organizational skills, and have a deep commitment to workplace Safety. Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks and containers.
- Transporting materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Organizing and stocking materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Picking and staging materials for outgoing shipments or internal use.
- Conducting regular inspections of material handling equipment and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assisting with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stocktaking processes.
- Collaborating with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient logistics workflow.
- Identifying and addressing any potential safety hazards or operational inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a Material Handler, warehouse, or logistics role is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts.
- Team player attitude with a willingness to assist others.
