We are looking for a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our expanding logistics team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This involves carefully selecting the correct products, quantities, and ensuring they are packaged securely and efficiently. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is crucial for optimal productivity and Safety. All team members are required to follow company Safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have excellent accuracy, be able to work at a steady pace, and perform tasks involving moderate Lifting. Experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment is beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our supply chain operations and be part of a supportive team. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders based on pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of up to 30-40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Commitment to Safety standards and following instructions.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
