Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary paperwork.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory records related to outbound shipments.
- Communicate with sales and customer service departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure all shipments are properly packaged and labeled according to company standards and carrier requirements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to the shipping department.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.
