This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize loss and errors. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points, generating reports for replenishment.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to prevent loss and damage.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse using inventory management systems.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to maximize space utilization.
- Maintain detailed records of all inventory-related transactions.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed to support logistics.
- While not solely focused on heavy lifting, occasional assistance with moving inventory may be required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role. Proficiency with inventory management software and systems (e.g., WMS). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in a related field is a plus. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles. Understanding of warehouse safety standards. This role is vital for the smooth operation of our logistics and requires a dedicated individual committed to accuracy and efficiency.
