Our logistics company in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to manage our outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing orders for shipment, which includes picking items from inventory, verifying order details, and carefully packaging products. You will generate shipping labels, ensure correct addressing, and select appropriate shipping methods. Responsibilities also include coordinating with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries, maintaining shipping supplies, and keeping accurate shipping records. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this position. You will also be expected to adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and employing safe lifting practices when handling packages. This position is integral to our supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our valued customers. The ideal candidate is reliable, has basic computer skills, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a general logistics role is preferred.
