We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to enhance our logistics operations in Durham, North Carolina. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and proper organization of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing full physical inventories, investigating and resolving any inventory discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize future errors. You will be responsible for using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movements, manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO), and ensure optimal storage utilization. A strong understanding of inventory control principles and practices is essential. You will collaborate with warehouse and operational teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and support operational efficiency. Safety is paramount; adherence to all company safety policies, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques, is required. This is a key position for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and supporting operational success. The ideal candidate possesses excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency with WMS software. Prior experience in inventory control or a related logistics field is highly desirable. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits.
