We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our growing warehouse team in Seattle, Washington. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in retrieving products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that items are picked correctly and prepared for timely dispatch. Your focus on precision and adherence to Safety protocols are key.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order lists.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to track picked items and update inventory.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring ease of access to inventory.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product identifiers.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility regarding work schedules and occasional overtime.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety.
